Two hands passing a ticket across a small table, a night landscape rushing past the window
Scene Studio

Somewhere else, without going anywhere.

Date nights for couples who'd rather stay in. One room, a new identity, and a script that does the hard part.

How it works

Tonight, you're two other people.

1

Pick a scene

A night train, a Paris café, a doctor's exam room. Each one is a complete evening.

2

Set the room

Three to five simple props, most of them already in your home. A silk scarf, warm oil, a stethoscope.

3

Play

The script tells you what to say and when. Read the lines, or learn your favorites.

Why it works

Everything you need. Nothing to figure out.

No planning

The story, the props, the lines: all ready. You just bring the evening.

Something new

New names, a new place, a new version of each other. Familiar, but not tonight.

A real surprise

Set it up in advance. Your partner doesn't need to know a thing until the night.

No awkward talk

A menu to order from, a form to tick. Say what you want without having to say it.

The scenes

Choose your evening.

Three levels, from a romantic night in to after dark. Every scene is a printable PDF.

Questions

Good to know

What's in a scene?

A printable PDF: the idea, how to set the room, a short list of props, the roles, printable cards (a menu, a ticket, a form), and a full script with lines for every moment.

Do we need to buy a lot of props?

No. Most scenes use three to five things you already have: a lamp, a blanket, a song, a printed card. A few suggest something small and optional.

We're not actors. Will this feel silly?

A little, at first, and that's part of the fun. The script does the hard part: read the lines as they are. Once you're in character, it gets easy.

Can I surprise my partner?

Yes. The scenes are written for one person to plan. Your partner can arrive knowing nothing, or you can share the page beforehand.

Does it have to be at home?

Anywhere you have a room to yourselves: your home, a hotel room, an Airbnb.

What if we don't like it?

On your first purchase, write to us within 7 days and we'll refund you in full. See our refund policy.
